There is just something magical about Walt Disney World. It has the ability to fully immerse you in your vacation and make you completely forget about your life outside of this wondrous place! It has the ability to make you feel like a kid again; where all the calories don't matter and working out is just running from one ride to another. I mean c'mon, really, what is more magical than ending everyday with fireworks?!
It's amazing how much one year can make a difference. Just last year Sophia was only around 5 months old, sitting in her Bumbo chair in front of the Christmas tree and this year she will be able to sit on her own and open her gifts by herself on Christmas morning, crazy! When compiling her Christmas list we took into consideration the fact that during the winer months in PA there is basically no going outside for any extended period of time, so we had to find something new and fun for her to do indoors.
One of my absolute favorite memories as far back as I can remember is the tradition of going to chop down a Christmas tree each year with my parents and brother. Each year the 1st weekend in December we would pile in the car and make the three minute drive to our favorite tree farm to look for the perfect Christmas tree.
Now that Sophia is getting older I have been looking for more opportunities/activities for us to do as a family. While we do a good bit in the warmer months; as soon as it starts to get cold I feel like we stay indoors a lot and since Sophia was less than a year old last year at this time; we hadn't even attempted to look for many activities for colder months.
