...Each year the company I work for does a business trip somewhere for a portion of the U.S. business.  I am lucky enough to be one of the group that is now invited.  This year's conference was in Brooklyn.  While it was not as far away (or warm) as past sites, it was still really exciting!

As I write to you now it is already nearing 9pm on Sunday night...excuse me, where did the weekend go?!  This weekend was fairly low key compared to more recent weekends filled with activities but that didn't stop it from speeding by quickly.

This month the ladies of the office decided to do a ladies Paint Nite.  If you haven't been living under a rock, you have probably at least heard of Paint Nite, if not attended one yourself.  I managed to make it to paint nite this month and I'm so glad I did!

Sunday we spent the day at home watching football and baking cookies.  With this little one being only a few months old last year I didn't have an opportunity to bake, so I took advantage of Kyle being home to bake cookies.  I made a few dozen chocolate chip cookies,  peanut butter blossoms, regular peanut butter cookies, and sand-tarts.

Now that Sophia is getting older I have been looking for more opportunities/activities for us to do as a family.  While we do a good bit in the warmer months; as soon as it starts to get cold I feel like we stay indoors a lot and since Sophia was less than a year old last year at this time; we hadn't even attempted to look for many activities for colder months.
